Why does AutoHDR only use 3 exposures when I uploaded 5?

This is by design. The pipeline is built around 3-bracket processing — when you upload 5, the AI picks the 3 that produce the cleanest, most natural-looking output for that angle. The extra brackets give the AI more options to select from.

The extra brackets aren't wasted

Uploading 5 gives the AI a wider range to pick from. It selects the 3 best for the final blend, which can improve the result in tricky lighting.

If a specific photo looks off

The most likely cause is exposure range rather than bracket count. Make sure your darkest bracket is dark enough to see clearly outside windows, and your brightest captures full interior shadow detail.
