Why does AutoHDR ask for permission to access all my Dropbox files and folders?
AutoHDR needs broad Dropbox access to detect when you add new folders that match the automatic editing folder structure. This permission is used strictly for the automatic editing workflow — not for any other interaction with your Dropbox.
What we use the permission for
- Watching for new folders created under the AutoHDR root
- Detecting new raw photos added to 01-RAW-Photos folders
- Writing the 04-FINALS-Photos folder back into your Dropbox after editing
What we don't do
We don't read, access, or modify anything outside the AutoHDR folder structure.
