The wall color came back wrong — how do I fix it?
You have minute control over colors in AutoHDR. Use AI Re-Paint to eyedrop and match the exact color, or use AI Re-Edit to describe the change. For systemic accuracy, check your account's separate Interior and Exterior color settings at autohdr.com/account.
AI Re-Paint (free)
Open the photo in your listing, click the Re-Paint button (palette icon), and pick the correct color. AutoHDR rebuilds the wall in that exact color and leaves the rest of the photo untouched.
AI Re-Edit (1 credit after 3 free)
Open the photo, click AI Re-Edit, and describe what you want: "make the accent wall a true matte black." Note: do NOT use AI Re-Edit if the room contains text — wallpaper with words, book covers, signs, etc. AI Re-Edit can distort or hallucinate text during regeneration. Use AI Re-Paint instead.
Recommended EV settings for future shoots
- For 3 brackets: 2EV or 3EV apart
- For 5 brackets: 2EV apart (ideal for maximum range)
This ensures window exposures aren't blown out and dark rooms get enough exposure.
Future shoot tips
Unusual wall colors (very dark, very saturated) can confuse the AI. Shooting auto white balance and bracketing mid → dark → bright helps it lock onto the true color reference.
