How do I set up Dropbox with AutoHDR?

Setting up Dropbox with AutoHDR is a three-step process: connect your Dropbox account, create the exact folder structure, then wait 20 minutes after uploading for processing to trigger.

Step 1 — Connect Dropbox in AutoHDR

Go to autohdr.com/account and click Connect with Dropbox. This links your Dropbox account to AutoHDR.

Step 2 — Set up the exact folder structure

AutoHDR watches for this specific structure:

  • /AutoHDR/ — root folder, at the top level of your Dropbox (do not nest)
  • /123 Main Street/ — your shoot folder, named for the property address
  • /01-RAW-Photos/ — upload your input photos here (exact name, hyphens, capital P)
  • /04-FINALS-Photos/ — created automatically when editing completes

You can add extra folder layers between AutoHDR and the address folder (e.g., by date or photographer) — that's fine. The two anchors that must be exact: AutoHDR as the root, and 01-RAW-Photos as the input folder name.

What will NOT be processed

  • Files placed outside 01-RAW-Photos
  • Folders named anything other than exactly 01-RAW-Photos (e.g. 01 RAW Photos, 01-raw-photos, RAW — all fail)

Step 3 — Wait 20 minutes

After your last file uploads, AutoHDR waits 20 minutes before triggering processing (in case you're still uploading). Once triggered, edited photos appear at autohdr.com/listings and in a 04-FINALS-Photos folder in your Dropbox automatically.

Still not working?

Disconnect and reconnect Dropbox at autohdr.com/account — this clears most auth issues. If it still doesn't trigger after 20+ minutes with the correct folder structure, email your account email and shoot folder name to delivery@autohdr.com.
