My exported photos look wrong when I open them in Photoshop — can I get a credit?

If photos look different in Photoshop than they do in the AutoHDR web app, the difference is usually how Adobe is interpreting the file — not an issue with the export itself. Credits aren't typically refundable for this since the file processed correctly.

Why this happens

Our goal is that you never have to leave AutoHDR for any post-processing. If exported photos look different in Photoshop than they do on your Mac or in the AutoHDR web UI, it's often because Adobe is interpreting the photo differently — not because there's a problem with the file.

Recommended workflow

  • View your photos in the AutoHDR web app to see how they actually look.
  • Make any color, exposure, or detail adjustments directly in AutoHDR rather than in Photoshop.
  • Download the final version after you've made your adjustments.

If the photos truly look broken

If photos look broken in AutoHDR itself (not just in Photoshop), reach out with the shoot link and we'll review whether it's a processing issue on our end.
