Why did most of my photos come back as colored lines?

That's a rare error and it means the files were corrupted before even going into the AI model. The most likely cause is corrupted files being uploaded into the system or an incomplete upload.

Other possible cause

It's also possible the RAW file format is new and we're not yet compatible.

How to fix it

Convert the images to JPEG first, then re-upload. This will fix the corrupted outputs that are just a bunch of colored lines.
