Why did my photos come back pixelated?

Pixelation is usually a display artifact from viewing at high zoom, an input quality issue from compressed JPEGs, or a bracket grouping problem. Download the full-resolution file and view at 100% before assuming it's a processing issue.

Common causes

  • High zoom view: Pixelation that disappears at normal zoom is a display artifact, not an editing problem. Always check the full-resolution download at 100%.
  • JPEG input quality: If you uploaded JPEGs that were already compressed, the AI edits what it receives. Start from RAW or high-quality JPEG for best results.
  • Bracket grouping issue: If a single underexposed or overexposed bracket was processed alone, the result can look degraded. Check that all three brackets for that angle were uploaded.

If the issue persists

If the pixelation is still visible on a full-resolution download at 100%, email delivery@autohdr.com with the shoot link and the affected photo.
