How long does AutoHDR take to process a photo shoot?
Average processing time for a shoot of around 40 edited output photos is about 15 minutes. It can be more or less depending on file sizes. If you're uploading via Dropbox or another integration, add an extra 20 minutes for the upload-wait window.
Standard processing time
- Around 40 edited photos: ~15 minutes on average
- Larger shoots or larger files: longer
- Smaller shoots: shorter
Dropbox and integration uploads add 20 minutes
If you upload through the Dropbox automation, the Spiro integration, or any other integration, AutoHDR waits 20 minutes after your last file upload before kicking off the shoot — to anticipate any more photos coming in. Add 20 minutes to any quoted processing time when using an integration.
If your shoot hasn't completed
If a website upload hasn't returned after 15+ minutes, something may have gone wrong. Our team monitors for failed shoots 24/7 and will either re-run them or send you a message explaining what happened.
Rare situations where a shoot won't run automatically
- We receive no files from you
- A critical bug from an unusual file format (try uploading JPEGs to eliminate complexity)
- Temporary downtime with a GPU provider — we have backups in place and reroute quickly
