Why did my edited photos come back too dark?
Dark output almost always means your brightest bracket wasn't bright enough. The AI can only blend what your input brackets capture — if your brightest exposure still leaves corners pitch black, the AI has nothing to fill in the shadows with.
Fix for the current shoot
Use AI Re-Edit on the dark photos with a prompt like "brighten the overall image, lift the shadows and dark corners, increase the exposure."
Fix for future shoots
Your brightest bracket should be bright enough that even dark corners have visible detail. If shooting 3 brackets at ±2 EV still gives dark results, try 3 brackets at ±3 EV, or shoot 5 brackets at ±2 EV — that gives the AI wider exposure range to work with.
Graininess in dark areas
That means your ISO was too high. For real estate, shoot between ISO 200-400 when possible.
