Yes — grass replacement costs 1 extra credit per photo where the AI applies it, on top of your normal edit credit. This applies whether grass replacement is auto-enabled in your account settings or you apply it manually in the gallery.

How grass replacement billing works

• Auto-on in settings: every exterior photo where the AI detects and replaces grass during your shoot's standard edit deducts 1 additional credit.
• Applied manually in the gallery: same cost, 1 credit per photo.
• Regenerating an existing grass replacement (loop icon) is always free — once a photo has been grass-replaced, you can iterate on the result without spending more credits.

If you want to control costs

Leave grass replacement off in your account settings and apply it selectively only on the photos where you want it.
