Do credits roll over or expire?

Credits on an active subscription roll over month to month and do not expire — unused credits accumulate at each renewal. If you have 200 credits left and your plan renews with 500 more, you'll have 700.

When credits go away

• Cancelling your subscription. Credits are tied to an active plan. If you cancel, your remaining credits stay available for the rest of your billing period, then expire when the subscription officially ends.
• Plan changes. Downgrading to a lower plan does not affect your credit balance — credits roll over regardless of which paid plan you're on.

How to avoid losing credits

If you're worried about losing credits, the safest move is to stay on any paid plan rather than cancelling outright. Even the lowest tier keeps your balance intact.
