Deduplication is off but AutoHDR is still merging similar shots — why?

Even with deduplication disabled, very visually similar shots (like a door open vs. door closed from the same angle) may get grouped together. This is based on visual similarity detection, which is separate from the deduplication setting.

The fix

If a bracket set gets incorrectly merged, upload that angle separately as its own shoot. Processing it in isolation prevents it from being grouped with the other angle.
