The Declutter tool removed items I wanted to keep — how do I fix it?

The Declutter tool uses AI to identify and remove items it classifies as clutter — small objects, cords, personal items. It can sometimes remove things you wanted to keep (lamps, chairs, decorative pieces) because it can't always distinguish intentional décor from clutter.

For the affected shoot

AI Re-Edit can generate a similar-looking item back, but it won't match the original — it's a generated approximation, not a true restoration. The cleanest path is to send us the shoot link and we'll have our team restore the items directly from your input photos.

For future shoots

If Declutter is over-removing across most of your shoots, the cleanest fix is to turn it off in autohdr.com/account → Style Settings. Declutter is opt-in (costs 1 credit per photo when enabled), so disabling it saves credits as well.

No 'keep this item' toggle

There's no per-item Declutter toggle, so for shoots with statement furniture or lamps you want preserved, leaving Declutter off is the safest approach.
