Why don't the colors in my photos look realistic?

Color accuracy issues usually come from white balance in the source frames, bracket spacing, or your style profile settings.

Things to check

• White balance in the source frames. Open your photo in the listing gallery and click "View Inputs" to check your original bracket files. If the color looks off there, the issue is your white balance setting when shooting. Auto WB is what we recommend — locking to a fixed preset (like Tungsten or Daylight) can introduce a color cast that carries through the whole edit.
• Bracket spacing too close together. If your brackets are only 1 EV apart, the AI has a narrow range to work with and the blend can look flat or washed out. 2 EV apart at 3 brackets gives better results.
• Style profile. Go to autohdr.com/account and check which style profile is set as your default. Different profiles apply different color treatments — switching profiles and re-uploading (re-runs are free, you only pay to download) is worth testing if the color isn't matching your expectations.

Use the color editor in Basic Adjustments to dial in the hue, saturation, or luminance on specific color channels. Or use the Repaint tool to select the exact hex color you want on a specific surface.
