Do you use 3 or 5 brackets for handheld real estate shots, or just a single shot?
3 brackets for handheld real estate is the standard. AutoHDR aligns handheld brackets that aren't perfectly overlapping — just make sure you don't move the camera during each individual exposure, which causes blur.
Why 3 brackets
- Dark bracket — captures the view outside the window
- Bright bracket — captures detail in dark parts of the room
- Mid bracket — provides neutral exposure and color reference
Single exposures still work
AutoHDR can edit single-bracket shots, but if there's no window detail or shadow detail in the original capture, those areas won't appear in the edit either.
Handheld is fine
The AI aligns handheld brackets cleanly. The only thing to avoid is camera movement during a single exposure — that produces blur the AI can't fix.
