What causes blurring or strange artefacts in my photo?

Blurring or artefacts are usually caused by one of two things: motion blur in the input bracket, or mis-grouped angles.

Motion blur in the input bracket

AutoHDR can align shaky handheld shots, but if there was movement during the actual exposure (camera shake, subject movement), that blur stays in the edit. Check your raw input files for the affected angle to see if any bracket was blurry going in.

Mis-grouped angles

If two very similar angles were grouped together, the misalignment between them shows up as blurring or artefacts. Check your raws for two angles that look nearly identical. If that's the case, upload the bracket sets for each angle as two separate shoots — they'll be processed correctly in isolation.
