Why do my blended images have washed-out or desaturated colors?

If the color isn't accurate, click View Inputs to see if your input images are representative of the accurate color. If they're not, that's the root cause.

Recommended shooting setup

Shoot three brackets at 2 EV apart, and keep your bracket order as mid, then dark, then bright so the auto white balance selects the most accurate lighting condition as its basis. Providing a flash exposure can help but is definitely not needed.

Manual color adjustment

• Repaint tool — select the hex color you want to repaint the walls to.
• Color editor in Basic Adjustments — select the exact shade of color you want to edit, then adjust the hue, saturation, or luminance to dial in the wall color.
