Why is the auto-added fire in my fireplace too big and glowing?

The auto-fire doesn't have size or intensity controls. The cleanest fix is to turn off the Fire toggle, re-upload, then use AutoFill to add a controlled fire only where you want it.

Step-by-step fix

  • Turn off the Fire toggle in autohdr.com/account → Style Settings.
  • Re-upload the shoot — re-runs are free since you only pay when you download. The reprocessed shoot will have no auto-fire.
  • Use AutoFill to add controlled fire — open each photo, click AutoFill, mask the fireplace area, and prompt: "small realistic flame in fireplace" or "natural soft flames, not glowing." AutoFill is free and gives you direct control over the look.

If you want to keep auto-fire on for future shoots

Re-upload with Fire toggled off, use AutoFill on the specific photos you want fire on, then toggle Fire back on in Style Settings for your future shoots.
