What Dropbox folder structures does AutoHDR support?

AutoHDR supports any folder structure you want, as long as two anchors stay exact: the root folder must be named AutoHDR, and the input photos folder must be named 01-RAW-Photos. Everything in between is flexible.

The two strict rules

  • The root folder must be named exactly AutoHDR and live at the top level of your Dropbox — do not nest it inside another folder
  • Your input photos must be inside a folder named exactly 01-RAW-Photos

What's flexible

You can add as many folder layers as you want between AutoHDR and the address folder. Common organization patterns include:

  • By date: /AutoHDR/2025-11/123 Main Street/01-RAW-Photos/
  • By photographer: /AutoHDR/Photographer Name/123 Main Street/01-RAW-Photos/
  • By market: /AutoHDR/Austin/123 Main Street/01-RAW-Photos/

Any combination works — AutoHDR only cares about the two anchor folder names.
