Why do my photos have AI artifacts or distortions?

AI artifacts happen when the model encounters something complex in the scene that it didn't handle cleanly. Here's how to fix it.

How to fix specific types of artifacts

• Warped or distorted area — use AI Re-Edit and describe the specific region and what it should look like. Example: "the top-right corner of the ceiling is warped, make it look like a normal flat white ceiling."
• Hallucinated object (something that wasn't there) — use AutoRemove to paint over the area and remove it.
• Texture or surface that looks obviously AI-generated — use AutoFill to mask the area and reprompt it with a description of the correct material. Example: "clean hardwood floor, natural grain, no artifacts."

Try Regenerate first

Regenerate (the loop icon) is always free and sometimes produces a clean result on a second pass — worth trying first before editing.

Severe artifacts

If the distortion is severe or covers a large portion of the photo, reply with the shoot link and the specific photo so we can look at what the model did and flag it if needed.
